KATRIN FRIDRIKS jobber med organsiskt abstrakt ekspresisjonistisk uttrykk. I hennes kunst jobber hun med fart, tyngekraft og vekst som overordnede temaer mot samspillet mellom menneske og natur. Maleriene hennes er ofte integrert i såkalte paintscapes, som vil si at maleriene plasseres i en installasjon for å gi dem en ekstra dimensjon.
Katrin Fridriks (f. 1974, Reykjavik, Island) er en Islandsk samtidskunstner. Hennes kunst er abstrakt ekspresjonistisk og kan defineres som en slags fusjon av pop-art, grafitti og kalligrafi. De abstrakte komposisjonene brtyes av med virvler av farger og lek med politiske temaer som omhandler miljø og naturressurser
