Milvia Maglione
A leading Italian printmaker, painter and artist of assemblages, Milvia Maglione has exhibited her art since the early 1960's.
In 1967 she was a contributing printmaker to the Dutch publication, The Situationalist Times, along with such artists as Alechinsky, Matta, Lam and Jorn.
Living and working in both France and Italy, Maglione has been the recipient of numerous government commissions. In 1991, for example, she designed a series of postage stamps for the French government.
Throughout her career, Milvia Maglione has dedicated much of her art to the fascinating world of the child. Her art has long been included in major exhibitions in Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Italy, France, Germany and Japan.
