"An intimate glimpse into the world of a mother sperm whale, affectionately named Soursop, and her calf, Ariel, as they sleep vertically in the water column. With a belly full of deep-sea squid (whose tentacles can still be seen dangling from her mouth), Soursop is able to remain suspended for up to two hours at a time, but Ariel is still young and must make several trips to the surface to breathe."
