Lasse Berntzen are a educated artist and designer from Western Norway's Academy of Fine Arts and the National Academy of Art and Design in Bergen (KHIB) in addition to studies in art history, design management and education - he has skills as associate professor of visual communications.

Lasse Berntzen has a long and varied artistic career experience as an artist, designer and educator. He was one of the initiators of Bergens first pure design and illustration studio - Black on White (later Dynamo Bergen). Moreover, he was employed in the design department LOOC in connection with the preparation and execution of the Lillehammer Olympics in 94 and he has worked as a design manager at Bergen International Festival for 7 years. Lasse Berntzen has taught and been examiner at KHIB several times and he has been a guest lecturer at the University of Bergen (UIB) and the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
